A pleasant walk through the centre of Milano, visiting the most famous monuments of the city but also the unknown corners. A route through the history of the buildings and of the famous people who lived here: from Leonardo Da Vinci to the writer Alessandro Manzoni. The visit starts from Piazza della Scala, where rises the famous opera-house and it involves a few places. Alessandro Manzoni's House (exterior); the "Large Men's house" (exterior), The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II arcade; the imposing cathedral, the Duomo (exterior) and its square; a beautiful medieval belltower; Merchants's Square, an ancient square that was one time a place of public punishment! We will see the palace in which lived the "Lady with an Ermine" painted by Leonardo; and we will visit the Sforza Castle of Milan.
